Before Marilyn and Don Breese ever came to town, there was an Oak Ridge Bed and Breakfast. Built in the early 1930s as a private residence, the stately brick home drew in a respectable number of weekend guests. The Breeses purchased the business at the end of 2001. Although they kept the name and the phone number, they redid nearly everything else. According to Marilyn, they’ve broken almost all the rules involved in getting into the bed and breakfast business, but by all accounts have been truly successful. |
