Each of our luxurious bedrooms has a queen bed and its own bathroom. The touch of extra fine linens and silk appeal to the sense of being a cherished guest.
Anne McCaffery Room
Paying tribute to this extraordinary author, we’ve filled the room with the passion and fire of her beloved dragons. Silk bed coverings, heaps of plump soft pillows, soft touchable robes await your pleasure. Many of McCaffrey’s books are displayed here, as well as a personal collection of dragons and other samples of the fantasy world exemplified by her books.
Tony Hillerman Room Bask in the warmth of New Mexico in the room named for this author. Much of the furniture here comes from our personal collection, and we’ve add smaller touches to authenticate the feel. Books by Hillerman and others who make the dessert their playground can be found here.
Lillian Jackson Braun Room
Here is a room for the lover of all things CAT! Braun’s series, “The Cat Who…..” is featured here and a fanciful collection of cats of all kinds. The lovely quilt found here was a gift from a friend when we opened the B&B. Enjoy this cozy room with its canopy and the hidden comfort of a featherbed. And pay homage to Koko and Yum-yum. Their portraits are hidden in the room as well.
The Hobbit House The Hobbit House is a cozy, cedar lined retreat high in the trees. Located outside of the main house, this is a favorite room for our bridal couples. With greater floor space than the other rooms, there is room for a family as well. A queen bed, a day bed and a trundle provides easy accommodations for a family of four. It is also our only space for guests who travel with pets.
